| W ell another day is here. I find myself this morning with a heavy heart. I think of C S Lewis's words," The only way to guard your heart from pain is to lock it up and never let anyone in." Then the pain of loneliness would consume you. Anyway to love is very risky. You extend yourself out to another person and trrust them with a piece of yourself. You in a very real sense have no contrrol over what that person does with it. I am not even just refering to romantic love, although that can be the riskiest of all. To love at all is very risky, including friends ,extended family and children. A child probably can cause the most pain and the most joy. There is a love for your children that is really indescribable. You want the very best for them in life and would like to help them avoid some of the pit falls that cause pain. You want them to live a life of purpose and meaning and true joy. Yet you really have no control over there decisions.When you go through those periods of time where they seem to be rejecting you in some way, it can be heart wrenching. With a child you can't break up or divorce. You have to keep giving your heart to them and trusting them with it. Anyway, I am rambling. To love at all is risky. Not to love I suppose will be Hell. | | |

That is one way of seeing who is really "spiritual"!!! is there an interpreter in the house??? just kidding. It really doesn't say anything SO quit trying to figure it out!!! I think I am suposed to tell you something about my day. Well, I had the 2nd opportunity to talk with a friend of mine who is dabbling with a cult. I have just challenged her on who Jesus Christ is. You know God in flesh, creator and LORD of all. I also encouraged her to decide how God has revealed Himself. In His Word, The Bible God has told us everything we need to know about Him and what He desires for our life and how to know Him. Anyway enough preaching for today, lets take up an offering now!!!!! JUST KIDDING! Hey Devan my lovely daughter. I just read your new comment. Thanks for the encouragement. I was just in the Word and no that is not the name of my bed. I was reading some of the Psalms. David really continuily cried out toGod. It seems he was often troubled, but he did know where to take his fears and confusion. May be that could be a lesson for us all. "Troubles" may often come, but tell the Lord what is in your heart and let Him walk through them with you. Anyway God bless and have a great day.
